A huge thank you to everyone who jumped on this year’s Crop Tour. First timers, a returning faces and the veterans who somehow keeps signing up for more kilometres and time in the paddock, you helped make it another great week.

Thanks to Riordan Group for backing the tour and keeping everyone fuelled, shaded and moving. Thanks also to Rural Logic for the crop-side coffee van, Saputo for feeding us in Horsham, and DAS and Ag Vic for their support, data and expertise along the way.

One thing that really stood out this year was how much knowledge gets passed around on tour and how important it is to have the veterans to help pass on the knowledge. Sure, we’re out there collecting crop data, but some of the best value comes from the conversations between stops, sharing experiences, asking questions and learning from each other. It’s a pretty good reminder that agriculture is still very much a people industry.

Thanks again to everyone who took part and helped make the week what it was. We hope to see plenty of familiar faces back next year, along with a few new ones ready to find out what all the fuss is about.
