It’s with great pleasure that we share the news that two of the greats, Adrian Murphy and Shane Wall, have been officially added to our GIAV Life Member list!
Both Adrian and Shane have made outstanding contributions to not only GIAV, but to the broader industry and community as well. Their dedication, time, and passion have left a lasting impact, and we’re absolutely thrilled to see them recognised in this way.
Please join us in congratulating these two legends!
A big thank you to Judy, Dean, Claire, and Susie-Wren Wall, along with Gabby, Bridie, Harry, and Lucy Murphy, for your top-tier secret-keeping skills! It was truly special to witness some genuine emotion on the faces of these two deserving gentlemen.
A special mention to Peter Allen, who was unfortunately unable to attend. Wishing you all the best in your recovery, Peter, you were missed.
Another announcement that may have flown under the radar — Liam Richmond from JBS Pork has been officially accepted onto the GIAV Committee. A big welcome to Liam, we’re excited to have you on board!

A special shoutout as well to our brilliant panel coordinators, Jemima Jammison (Cargill) and George Laurie (LDC). Your thoughtful questions and good-humoured banter helped make the day both engaging and memorable.
Thank you to everyone that attended, the events dont work without the community getting behind them. Watch this space…. Bowls and golf announcements to come soon.
