The Grain Industry Association of Victoria (GIAV) invites applications from businesses involved in the grains industry or related services.
The GIAV’s mission is to protect the interests of the grain, oilseed, and pulse sectors in Victoria, while promoting confidence, efficiency, and stability throughout the supply chain. This is achieved through advocacy, supporting fair trade practices, and encouraging the use of standardised contracts.
Applicants must provide nominations from two GIAV members who have been with the association for at least one year. These nominations should include a brief overview of the applicant’s business dealings and confirm that, based on their relationship, the applicant conducts business ethically and with integrity, both with GIAV members and others.
By submitting an application, applicants confirm they have read the Rules of the Grain Industry Association of Victoria (GIAV). If accepted, they agree to comply with the Rules and By-Laws of the Association. Company applicants must confirm that the business is a solvent entity, and that all members meet the ASIC criteria for being fit and proper persons. They must also confirm that none of their members have had their membership previously cancelled by GIAV.
Please do not proceed with the application if any of the above terms are not met by you, your company, or its staff.
