ABOUT
Since 2016, the GIAV Crop Tour has been a trusted source of pre-harvest yield estimates for cereal crops across south-eastern Australia, as well as a valuable networking opportunity for the grain industry.
The tour also serves as an excellent introduction for new staff, offering insights into crop conditions and a chance to build industry connections.
This year’s tour begins in Bendigo on Tuesday, 14 September, with the second night spent in a location to be confirmed. Participants will be divided into groups and assigned predetermined routes for crop scouting. The tour concludes with a post-tour meeting in Bendigo on Thursday, 16 September.
If you’re unable to attend, sponsorship opportunities are available. Your support helps ensure we can collect accurate, on-the-ground data by keeping people in the field.
Recommended: Please bring gumboots, wet weather gear, and a change of clothes.
