GIAV Golf Day, Dinner and Tour – Sponsored by GrainCorp

The GIAV Golf Day and Dinner has been a premier event on the GIAV calendar for many years. Once again we thank our sponsor GrainCorp, for their on-going support for our Golf Day. Combined with the dinner, at the beautifully refurbished heritage space at The Goods Shed, the format this year encouraged a relaxed environment for networking with members and guests from the grain industry.

The dinner venue The Goods Shed is located opposite the Ballarat Railway Station and the accommodation rooms at the Quest Ballarat Station making for a convenient train destination for those attending the dinner and the complimentary tour of the Unigrain plant at Smeaton at 9:30 the next morning Thursday March 14.

Golf Details

The Buninyong Golf Club, 613 Learmonth St, Buninyong is located at the foothills of Mt Buninyong. The course provided us with an excellent 18-hole Par 72, 5,759m course, with lush santa anna couch fairways and superbly manicured bent grass greens. Although comparatively short in stature, the course is challenging to golfers of all abilities. A light lunch was be provided before a 12:00 shot gun start of our Ambrose format.

• Our fees included a shared golf cart for all players
