The GIAV Golf Day and Dinner has been a premier event on the GIAV calendar for many years. Once again we thank our sponsor GrainCorp, for their on-going support for our Golf Day. Combined with the dinner and the morning tour of CHS Broadbent, the format this year encouraged a relaxed environment for networking with members and guests from the grain industry.
Golf Details
The Buninyong Golf Club, 613 Learmonth St, Buninyong is located at the foothills of Mt Buninyong. The course provided us with an excellent 18-hole Par 72, 5,759m course, with lush santa anna couch fairways and superbly manicured bent grass greens. Although comparatively short in stature, the course is challenging to golfers of all abilities. A light lunch was be provided before a 12:00 shot gun start of our Ambrose format.

Dinner
After golf all members and guests attended our Dinner and awards presentation held at Mercure Hotel and Convention Centre Ballarat, 613 Main Road Ballarat.
Tour CHS Broadbent Ballarat
On Thursday morning at 9:30, members and guests toured the recently constructed grain receival, storage and packing facilities owned and operated by CHS Broadbent. We appreciated the opportunity offered to members by CHS Broadbent.
